The central nervous system for every project.
How Bosch Power Solutions' special-purpose machinery division replaced Excel, MS Project, and Teams with Allex – gaining full transparency across every project and resource in the process.
Global footprint
Bosch Power Solutions operates more than 45 production sites worldwide, all coordinated through one platform.
Fast adoption
From first contact to full operation in less than 12 months — across leadership, pilots, and team-wide training.
Southern Germany hub
Four campus locations across southern Germany run special-purpose machinery projects end-to-end in Allex.
The challenges before Allex.
No overall view
Projects were scattered across Excel, MS Teams, and MS Project. There was no single view of status, deadlines, or workloads.
Resource conflicts
Employee capacity couldn't be planned across sites. Double bookings often surfaced too late.
Inconsistent data
Multiple systems produced contradictory data and required heavy manual upkeep.
Silos between teams
Project leads, procurement, engineering, and workshop teams worked in isolation. Synergies stayed on the table.
From idea to full operation in two years.
Allex as the central nervous system.

Templates for every project size
Large multi-department machine projects and smaller specialized orders. Project areas that aren’t needed are removed automatically.
Scenario planning
New orders are set up as scenarios. The project only goes live once the order is confirmed – capacity can be simulated with and without the order on the books.

API integration & Power BI
Projects are created via macro from Excel. Power BI delivers combined resource utilization across every site, budget vs. actual hours controlling, and project profiles.
Procurement tracking
Engineering requests parts as a task, including the bill of materials. Procurement maintains SAP numbers and delivery dates directly in Allex.
It can't add work, and at the same time it has to deliver real value. That was the benchmark for our rollout.
On the roadmap.
Deeper Power BI controlling
Expanding Power BI reporting with richer drill-downs and live KPI views for end-to-end project controlling.
Personal task planning
Establishing personal task planning for every employee so each team member runs their own day inside Allex.
More Bosch divisions
Integrating additional Bosch divisions and linking sub-projects across the wider PS organization.
Critical Chain planning
Planning with buffers and steering by the bottleneck – the next step toward true CCPM-driven execution.
